Festive Salad
Ingredients
For the dressing
- 3 tbsp balsalmic vinegar
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil omit or use different oil for strict fast days
- pinch salt
For the salad
- 1 head red leaf lettuce washed and torn
- 1/2 cup pecans toasted, in pieces
- 1/2 cup cranberries dried
Instructions
- In a large serving bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients. Add the lettuce and then toss. Sprinkle on the pecan pieces and dried cranberries. Serve immediately.
