Don’t you need 2/3 cup of vegetable oil?
Thank you so much! I updated the recipe now ☺️
Best Lenten cake ever! I used this recipe before but my print out did not show where I got it from.
When I searched it with the same title, yours came up. Anyway, I will be sharing your recipe with my friends. Thank you.
So glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve used it several times for baptism and chrismation cakes during lent. It’s great to have a vegan cake that actually holds it shape enough for decoration!
thank-you so much, needed a recipe for our priest who’s birthday falls during lent!
So glad you could use it to celebrate his special day. Many years to him!
Excellent cake, I have used lemonade, or Orange Juice,or Limeade in place of the water adding lemon/ orange /or lime zest….The extracts can be altered as well…I’m sure other flavor juices would work as well..
